Sheet Pan Nachos

These sheet pan nachos are so easy and when made with leftover taco meat it only takes one pan to make.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Grass-Fed Ground Beef
  • 1 15 oz Canned Black Beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 8 oz Block of Colby Jack Cheese shredded
  • 1 Bag Tortilla Chips
  • 1 Tomato diced
  • 1 cup Romaine Lettuce shredded
  • 1/2 cup Pickled Jalapeno Slices
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream
  • 2 TBSP Chili Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/8 tsp Oregano

Instructions
 

  • Shred the block of cheese and set aside.
  • Brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  • Add the chili blend (or chili powder and remaining spices) to the browned ground beef and stir well,
  • Drain the can of black beans and add to the meat mixture. Cook until it is warm.
  • Lay the tortilla chips on the sheet pan in a single layer.
  • Evenly distribute the meat and black bean mixture onto the chips.
  • Sprinkle the cheese on top.
  • Place under broiler for 2 minutes and check. SET THE TIMER do not try to guess.
  • Broil for 2 more minutes or until chip edges start to turn brown and the cheese is melted.
  • Remove from oven and top with diced tomato, shredded lettuce, pickled jalapenos, and sour cream. (You can also add any other optional toppings at this point)
