Honeysuckle Simple Syrup

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup honeysuckle flowers (leaves and stems removed)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar

Method
 

  1. Remove stems and leaves from honeysuckle.
  2. Combine all the ingredients in a medium saucepan
  3. Bring to a gentle boil, stirring occassionally
  4. Remove from heat and continue stirring until it is clear again
  5. Strain out the flowers and pour into your favorite bottle
  6. Keep in the fridge once open and discard unused syrup after two weeks
