Heat oil in skillet to 350 degrees (medium heat)
Slice tomatoes
In a small bowl combine, flour, salt and pepper
In a separate small bowl combine corn meal and bread crumbs
In a separate small bowl combine milk and eggs
Dredge tomato slices in flour
Then dip in milk and egg mixture
Finally dredge tomato slices in corn meal and bread crumb mixture
Place in hot oil and fry for about 4 minutes
Flip tomato slices and fry until golden brown all around about 4 more minutes
Drain on paper towel
Sprinkle with salt
Best if served while still hot or warm
