If you’ve ever wanted a quick farm tour here it is. Here are a few pictures from around our farm at various times during the year and some of the many ongoing projects we undertake each year.

Join us for a virtual tour of a picturesque beef farm nestled in the rolling hills of East Tennessee. Our family-owned farm is dedicated to sustainable and ethical beef production, and we’re excited to show you how we raise our cattle in a way that respects both the animals and the environment.

Introduction

We are surrounded by the serene beauty of East Tennessee. Our beef farm is a testament to the region’s rich agricultural traditions, and we’re proud to share our commitment to quality and sustainability with you. We are four-generations living and farming here. Our family has been here for over 30 years in this location and the patriarch was born and raised right here on this land over 70 years ago. We raise grass-fed and finished beef and sell it direct to consumers. We sell it by half beef, whole beef or by the cut. In addition to beef we have grass-fed tallow skincare products including small-batch artisan soap, tallow balm and lotion, farm-fresh eggs, and local raw honey. You can also purchase farm merchandise from us.

Cattle Ranch

Here, you’ll see our herd of healthy and contented cattle grazing on the vibrant pastures. Our cows are primarily Angus and Hereford breeds, known for their quality beef production.

Caring for the Cattle

Our farm is committed to providing the highest level of care for our cattle. We are a four-generation family farming together trying to be good stewards of the land and maintain the well-being of our animals. Our beef cattle eat grass from our pastures and supplemental hay in the winter months. We do whatever we can to ensure the health of our cattle throughout the year and we understand the importance of a stress-free environment for the cattle.

Sustainable Farming Practices

One of the highlights of our farm is our commitment to sustainability. Over the past few years we have implemented a rotational grazing system, which helps maintain healthy pastures while minimizing the environmental impact. We continue to plant new trees annually to help sequester carbon into the soil and are constantly working to prevent soil erosion and improve the soil in the pastures.

Butchery and Processing

All of our beef is processed at USDA inspected and regulated facilities and we only use the people we know and trust to ensure that the beef is prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Farm Store

We do NOT currently have a farm store and since this is a working farm and we are likely with our animals or attending other farm projects visits to our farm are by appointment only. We apologize we cannot attend to all drive-up visitors looking to purchase beef, but we are a working farm and it is just not feasible. We are happy to make an appointment for beef pickup if you have purchased beef, or it can be picked up at our local pickup times and places throughout the week. No beef deliveries or pickups will be available on the weekends.

Please ask any questions you have about our farm, our practices, or anything else related to beef farming in East Tennessee. Shoot us a message, visit us on social media or give us a call.

Thank you for checking out The Farm at Spring Creek. We’re proud of our commitment to sustainable, ethical, and high-quality beef production, and we hope this has given you a greater appreciation for the care and dedication that goes into every step of the process.
