If you’ve been following along for my Homemade Christmas posts you’ve probably guessed by now I might have a slight obsession with bath and beauty products. Mostly bath products. Well, this sugar scrub definitely falls into that category.

Don’t worry all you foodies and crafters,  I am getting to that part. For now I’m just so excited and have all the bath ingredients out at one timfour-year-old what you get and you don’t throw a fit.

That’s what I say to my four year old. It doesn’t work. He still throws fits.

Of course I’m teasing. I will be overjoyed in the next few days to share baking and crafting goodies that can easily be made before Christmas too. For now it’s sugar scrub time.

If you are like me these chilly winter months. Yes, there are chilly winter months! It’s a thing. Not a thing I ever saw before moving here, but it is a thing. If these chilly winter months leave your skin feeling kind of dry, sugar scrub is a delightful treat I use to help alleviate that dryness.

Plus they smell really good.

I love to rub this sugar scrub on my legs right after I shave then rinse. It rinses away all the sugar, but leaves behind the nourishing butters and oils. They leave them feeling silky smooth. Last Christmas my husband got me a tub of expensive sugar scrub from a great little bath shop back home and this smells identical to it and is just as luxuriously soft and good at sloughing off old dry skin.

This really is an easy, inexpensive gift that seems like a million bucks. You can add coloring if you want. I chose not on this one. Put in a pretty glass jar or container when you’re done and you’re all set.
