Cobbler Fruit Filling
- 3-4 cups Fruit - Blackberries rinsed and drained
- 1 cup Organic raw cane sugar
- 3/4 cup water
- 3 TBSP Arrowroot Powder can use cornstarch
Cobbler Ingredients
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup butter melted
Place berries and sugar in a dutch oven and heat over medium heat. Stirring and gently mashing the berries often.
Continue cooking for about 5 minutes until it starts to become like syrup.
In a cup mix the cold water and arrowroot powder or cornstarch to make a slurry.
